I will, however, address those who have made a fortune in your name, using and abusing you: to all those vultures out there, including music executives, religious and political leaders, hangers-on and media-mongrels, shame on you. Your contribution to Michael’s suffering shall not be forgotten by those who truly admired and loved him. Many of you would have lived a life in obscurity if it wasn’t for the opportunities Michael created for you. Your self-righteousness and your hypocrisy are apparent, and you should be ashamed of yourselves.

The final finger is pointed to the man who has not been blamed enough: Mr Joe Jackson. Sir, your lack of tact and sensitivity on the eve of Michael’s death, your ruthless ambition and your monstrous exploitation of your son shall not be forgotten by decent people. You never understood that talent like Michael’s would have been revealed anyway, without you depriving him of his childhood, and a normal life. You have directly contributed to his feelings of despair and misery that he endured his whole life. At least now he will be rid of you, because where he is now, you will never go. There is no room for people like you there. May you never have a good night’s sleep ever again.

To all my fellow fans and to Michael’s true, close friends: We are not alone, he is here with us, though he’s far away, he is here to stay. May he rest in peace. He was too good for this world.

To Michael’s children: fight for your father’s memory, for the rights of children who are less fortunate than yourselves, for your own right to privacy and for his legacy. You will always be in the thoughts and minds of those who loved your father. Be strong, be courageous, be proud and be happy. That’s what he would have wanted, this great father of yours.
